Fi's per-minute rates are published on Google's rate page for Fi (the same table as Google Voice's) and apply on every Fi plan to destinations the plan doesn't include. Canada and Mexico are free on Flexible, Unlimited Standard and Unlimited Premium, but not on Unlimited Essentials. Fi's table has no Mexico mobile row. Fi sells no separate international add-on.
When Google Fi is the cheaper way to call abroad
- Canada and Mexico. Google Fi says: “On Flexible, Unlimited Standard, and Unlimited Premium, calls to Canada and Mexico are included free.” If your plan includes them, nobody's per-minute rate — ours included — beats that.
- Almost everywhere, per minute. Google Fi's rate to a mobile is lower than TwinPhone's in Canada, the UK, India, the Philippines, Nigeria, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Pakistan, Germany, Brazil, France, Japan and Spain.

When a browser call costs less
