TwinPhone ("we," "our," "us") operates the twin-phone.com website and browser-based calling service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and optional display name.
Call Data: We store call metadata (numbers dialed, duration, timestamps) for billing and your call history. We do not store call audio unless you explicitly enable call recording.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by our third-party payment provider. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
Usage Data: We collect anonymized analytics data (pages visited, browser type, general location) to improve our service.
3. Call Encryption
Every call made through TwinPhone is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security) for signaling and SRTP (Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol) for audio. This encryption is automatic and cannot be disabled. Even TwinPhone employees cannot listen to your calls.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: provide and maintain the calling service, process payments and manage your account, send transactional emails (receipts, password resets), improve service quality and fix bugs, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
5. Data Retention
Call metadata is retained for the duration of your account plus 90 days after deletion. Call recordings (if enabled) are retained until you delete them or close your account. Payment records are retained as required by applicable financial regulations.
6. Your Rights
You can: access your personal data through your account dashboard, request deletion of your account and associated data, export your call history, opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, email privacy@twin-phone.com.
7. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services for: payment processing, call routing via telecom carriers, anonymized analytics, and email delivery. Each of these providers has their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for these services to function.
