Can I use a TwinPhone number for WhatsApp?

WhatsApp decides which numbers it accepts, and it can refuse a virtual number after the code step, so this is a track record, not a guarantee.
How do I verify WhatsApp with a TwinPhone number?
- Rent a US or Canadian number (from $3.19/month) and keep the TwinPhone tab or app open.
- In WhatsApp, enter the number with its country code (+1).
- Choose SMS. The code appears in TwinPhone's Messages inbox, usually within a minute.
- If no text arrives after the timer, choose Call me: the call rings in TwinPhone and a voice reads the code.
What does the track record mean?
The figure is a count of codes that arrived, from WhatsApp's two US senders, on real customer numbers in the 90 days to 27 September 2026. It is not a success rate: we see the codes that arrived, not the attempts WhatsApp declined. When a customer tells us WhatsApp "did not work", the code has usually arrived and WhatsApp rejected the number on its side afterwards.
What if WhatsApp refuses the number?
