How does TwinPhone billing work?
Short answer
Calling is pay-as-you-go. You top up $10, $25, $50 or $100, calls draw against the balance by the minute (rounded up, one-minute minimum), and credit never expires. There is no subscription for calling. The only recurring charge is a rented number, from $3.19 a month.
Is there a smaller top-up?
No. The smallest top-up is $10. It lasts about 500 minutes to the US or Canada and never expires, so it is not lost if you call rarely.
How are calls charged?
Each answered call is charged by the minute, rounded up, with a one-minute minimum, at the rate the dialer showed before you pressed Call. Unanswered calls are free. There is no connection fee.
How do I pay?
By card through Stripe on the website. Purchases made in the iPhone app are billed by Apple at App Store prices, which can differ from the website.
