Get Your Own Virtual Phone Number

A real phone number that lives in the cloud instead of on a SIM card. You receive calls and SMS in your browser from anywhere in the world, and you can place calls showing the virtual number as your caller ID. All you need is an internet connection.

Currently the United States and Canada. EU and UK numbers are intentionally not offered — those operators require the end user to submit a local proof-of-address document, which adds days of friction we are not yet ready to ship. We will open new countries as soon as that verification flow lands.

Often, from US and Canadian senders. The number receives SMS from US and Canadian numbers and short codes, which is how many US apps send sign-up codes. It does not receive texts from outside the US and Canada and cannot send SMS, and Telegram, banks and payment apps often refuse virtual numbers. When a service refuses the number, that is the service's rule, not a fault in the number.

Local US and Canada numbers start at $3.19/month. There are no setup fees and no long-term contract — you can cancel from your dashboard in one click. Outbound calls are billed separately, pay-as-you-go from $0.02/min.

Every call is encrypted with TLS for signalling and SRTP for media — the same standard banks use. The person you are calling sees the virtual number you picked as caller ID; your real personal number is never transmitted.

No. The number is a monthly subscription — when the subscription stops, the carrier returns the number to the pool and it may be reassigned. If keeping the number long-term matters to you, leave the subscription active or transfer the number out via porting before cancelling.

Number porting is available on request for US and Canada numbers. Contact support and we will review your account and the losing carrier — typical transfers take 5-10 business days once the paperwork is signed.
