How long do I keep my number, and how does renewal work?

Par Mis à jour le

Short answer

For as long as you keep paying for it. A number renews every month at the price you rented it for, from $3.19, until you cancel. We email a reminder two or three days before each card renewal. If a card renewal fails, the rental ends and the number is released, so keep your card up to date.

What happens at renewal?

On the renewal date the monthly price is charged to the card you rented the number with — the same price as the first month; there is no introductory rate that jumps later. We send a reminder 48–72 hours before a card renewal. From that email's link, or from the dashboard, you can cancel the number or send a refund request.

What if the payment fails?

A failed card renewal cancels the rental and releases the number. Numbers paid from the wallet balance get a three-day grace period to top up. A released number goes back to the carrier's pool and may be issued to someone else, so we cannot always get it back.

Does my calling balance expire with the number?

No. Calling credit never expires and is separate from the number: cancelling a number does not touch your balance.
