Can I call a phone from my computer without installing an app?

Yes. TwinPhone runs in a browser tab — Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave or Safari — on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Sign up, add credit, allow the microphone and type the number with its country code. The person answers on an ordinary phone. Calls to the US and Canada cost $0.02 a minute.
What are the steps?
- Open twin-phone.com and sign up with an email or Google.
- Add credit — the smallest top-up is $10 and it never expires.
- Allow the microphone when the browser asks.
- Type the number with its country code; the rate shows under the keypad before you press Call.
Why no app?
Browsers have carried real-time voice (WebRTC) for years, so a tab can place an encrypted call with nothing to install — useful on work laptops where you cannot install software.

Can I use headphones?
Yes. Any headset the computer recognises works; select it in the browser's microphone settings.
Does the other person need TwinPhone?
No. They answer a normal call on their phone.
