What number does the person I call see?
Short answer
It depends on your setup. Without a rented number, the person sees a shared TwinPhone number. With a rented US or Canadian number, you can pick it in the dialer's "Call from" menu so they see it and can call you back. To show your own mobile number, add a verified caller ID for $1.00 a month.
Why would I show my own number?
People answer numbers they recognise. With a verified caller ID, calls from TwinPhone show the mobile number your contacts already have saved, so they pick up and can call you back on it. We verify that the number is yours with a one-time code before it can be shown.
Can people call back the shared number?
No. The shared number is for outbound calls only; a call back to it does not reach you. If you want call-backs, rent a number or use a verified caller ID.
Are calls recorded?
Personal calls are not recorded.
