We Built TwinPhone Because Calling Abroad Costs Too Much

Calling a phone abroad still means a mobile plan's international rates, a calling card, or an app that only reaches people who use the same app. We built a phone that runs in the browser for everyone else.

The Problem We're Solving

When Skype shut down in 2025, millions of people lost their go-to service for cheap international calls. Microsoft pushed everyone to Teams — a tool designed for corporate video meetings, not calling your family abroad.

Meanwhile, calling a landline or mobile abroad from a phone plan is still billed at international rates. Through TwinPhone, an hour to a landline in Japan starts at about $8.73, and the exact rate is on screen before you dial.

We built TwinPhone to be a simple, affordable, and secure way to call real phone numbers abroad. There is nothing to install and no subscription to forget about — open your browser and dial. iPhone and Android apps are there if you want them.

Clear Limits

We say what TwinPhone can't do: numbers cannot send SMS, Telegram refuses virtual numbers, and emergency numbers like 911 or 112 cannot be dialled.

Calls landlines and mobiles in 145+ countries from Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave or Safari, with an iPhone app (iOS 17.0 or later) and an Android app on Google Play.
Calls to the US and Canada cost $0.02 a minute; every other rate is shown before the call connects. Billed per minute, rounded up, with no subscription and no connection fee.
Rents US and Canadian numbers from $3.19 a month, up to 3 per account. A number receives calls and SMS from US and Canadian senders; it cannot send SMS.
Top-ups start at $10 and credit never expires. Signing up needs an email, not a card or a phone number.
Business accounts share one calling wallet across a team, with per-member analytics.
